Abstract Submissions

Submission Requirements

We are delighted to announce that this year, ACPID has teamed up with the Society for Australasian Social Psychologists (SASP) to hold a joint conference on the Sunshine Coast at the spectacular Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas. More information regarding abstract submissions will be announced soon.

Presentations and Submission

Two presentation formats will be run:

  • Blitz Talk: 5 mins plus question time at end of Blitz Block (4-5 Blitz presentations). Blitz abstracts should be no more than 150 words.
  • Standard Paper: 10 mins plus 5 minutes question time. Paper abstracts should be no more than 200 words.
  • Symposia: consisting of 4 to 5 papers to be presented within 75 minutes, including question time. Symposia abstracts should provide an overall abstract (less than 200 words) as well as abstracts for each paper presented in the symposia (less than 200 words for each). 
  • Posters: Poster abstracts should be no more than 200 words.

All abstracts will be submitted to peer-review, which will consider the suitability of the proposed submission for inclusion in the conference. Authors will be provided with a decision via email generally within 3 weeks of abstract submission.
