Getting to and from the conference
It is possible to bus or train from the airport to UNSW but many will find the most convenient way is by taxi or Uber. Getting to UNSW from the City is easily achieved using the modern and convenient tramline which can be accessed using your credit card. Take the L2 line to UNSW High Street for the closest station to AGSM (5 minute walk). It is about a 15 to 20 minute walk from the UNSW Anzac Parade station on the L3 line.
Accommodation
You may well prefer to book your accommodation at AGSM. If you do this then the conference, lunch, dinner and accommodation is all in the same building.
AGSM offer two discounted price points – $195+GST per night with daily room cleaning or $165+GST without daily room cleaning. Each room comes with a double bed, ensuite, smart screen TV, small work desk, bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer, ironing board, and iron. We also provide all bed and bathroom linen and bathroom toiletries. A washing machine and dryer are available on the ground level, and detergent is supplied. Additionally, there is a shared kitchenette on the lower ground level with a fridge, microwaves, toaster, sandwich press, crockery, and cutlery. Adjacent to the kitchenette is the shared lounge for accommodation guests.
